As part of the ICT assignment I had visited the site britishcouncil.org/kids and findings are as folllows.
The site is owned by British council.It has free resources for children to use at home.The resources have been created and developed by resourcefull teachers and professionals.It is very useful to children especially for primary lerners.It is very attractive and colourful.There are numerous flash video songs, files and lyrics .It is very easy to use .It can be recomended to lower primary students who needs to know about nursery rhymes, body parts,numbers, colour etc..It can be easily accessed.The icons displayed on the screen in the site is very attractive, it has attached a lot of websites to help the learners, teachers and parents too.
I could explore that the above site opens up to the teachers, lerners and parents new avenues and vistas of imaginative recreations and an almost infinite variety language generating activities and games so far as a classroom of english is concerned.
